The Bedford Blues Academy Player Awards were presented by Bedford Blues President, Gareth Davies, at the Academy End of Season dinner at Goldington Road.

The Most Improved Player award was won by full back Jack Stapley.

The Young Player of the Year award was won by centre Aaron Martin.

The Player of the Year award was won by scrum half, Chris Easton.

Blues Academy Director, Denis Ormesher, said ..... "Jack Stapley came to us last season, having played most of his rugby in Dubai.  He has worked hard all season and developed really well.   Aaron Martin has also had a great season, which culminated in him winning his England Counties U18s cap.  Chris Easton has worked hard all season and developed well. His performances over the season have been consistently good, and his performance at the 10s was outstanding.  He has grasped the opportunity to develop this season more than any other player and the way he has applied himself should be an example to anyone who wants to develop as a player.

Chris and Aaron will train with the Blues senior XV during pre-season training this summer."
