The Blues Academy are at home this weekend when they welcome Moseley to Goldington Road on Saturday.

The game kicks off at 2pm, admission is free, the bar is open and Six Nations rugby is on TV - all are welcome.

Bedford make nine changes to the starting lineup that beat Ealing two weeks ago.  In the pack Ben Wilkinson moves from prop to hooker with Charley Robinson starting at prop after playing in the England U18 trials last weekend; Josh Fadden comes in at 2nd row, and Callum Strachan at flanker.  In the back line Olly Venni starts at scrum half, and Chris Easton moves from centre to fly half and captains the side.  After scoring four tries in his first two appearances off the bench Ryan Hutler gets his first start on the wing.  Luke Hibberd returns on the other wing, Jack Stapley moves form full back to centre with Ben Meaden returning at full back.

On the bench Oli Butler, the captain of Royal Grammar School High Wycombe makes his debut, and Italian U20 centre Nico Defoe makes his first appearance of the season after playing in France since September.

Bedford Academy Director, Denis Ormesher, said … “It is good to renew games against Moseley, who we have not played for a couple of seasons.  Our performance in the win against Ealing two weeks ago was a bit disappointing and we are looking for a much more direct game this week.  We have a number of players out with injury, and this gives us the chance to give some of our younger players a start this week, and for them to show us what they can do.”
