There will be rugby under lights again at Goldington Road next week, when the Blues Academy take on Saracens Academy, on Monday December 1st, KO 7.30 pm.  The Blues will be looking to put on a good performance against the RFU funded Academy.

After a good win last week, at home to Irish Exiles, Bedford pick a strong side to face Saracens.

The Blues back line shows only one change with Scott Lyle starting on the wing, with Jack Stapley reverting to the bench.  The pack shows two changes; Sam Copeland comes into the second row, with Alex Burman moving to the bench, and Felix Maddison returns at flanker, and captains the side in his final game before going out to Sydney to play for Manly.

Bedford Academy Director, Denis Ormesher said …. “We were pleased with the performance against Irish Exiles last week.  The weather conditions were terrible but we controlled the game well.  Saracens will offer a tough challenge, and the lads are looking forward to the contest.”

Why not come along and enjoy the rugby and show your support for the Blues Academy ?

Admission is free.

The bar will open at 6.30 pm and feature the “£3 Happy Hour” - food will be available from Noz’s Nosh from 6 pm.
