After good wins in the last two weeks, against Ealing and Nottingham, the Blues Academy face a much tougher challenge against the older Cambridge Univeristy U21 XV, at Goldington Road on Saturday November 9th, Kick Off 2.30pm.

Cambridge, who are preparing for their Varsity game at Twickenham in early December, had good wins recently against Moseley U21 XV and Bath University.  The University side, who will be on average two years older than the Blues, will present a tough physical challenge for  Bedford.

Bedford make a number of changes to their starting line up;  Ben Calder starts at 9 with Kieran Duffin reverting the the bench; Cameron  Gregory-Ring  starts at fly half and, with Aaron Morris on 1st XV duty against Cornish Pirates, the back line is shuffled with Dylan van Dieman moving to full back.  In the pack Josh  Piertserse and Connor Adams start at prop and Dan Martin returns to the back row after injury.

The Blues are captained by flanker Kennett O'Neill. Kick off is 2.30 pm, the bar is open and all are welcome.
