The Blues Academy welcome Nottingham Academy to Goldington Road on Sunday, KO 2.00 pm.

The Blues continue their policy of squad rotation and make ten changes (two of them positional) to the starting line that beat Oxford University Whippets last weekend.

In the pack, Ben Thompson starts at prop and Michael Bond at hooker.  Jacob Moody returns in the 2nd row and Callum Strachan and Rueben Pritchard start on the flanks.  In the back line Olly Howard starts at scrum half and Noah Jarvis starts at centre.  Max Titchener starts at full back with Liam Shields moving to the wing. Hartbury College fly half Max McMinn makes his Blues debut at flyhalf.  The side will be captained by No. 8 Rahat Choudhury.

Blues Academy Director, Denis Ormesher, said: “Our performance last week was a bit scrappy, with too many unforced errors.  We are looking for the lads to be more consistent over the full 80 minutes, to be much more clinical in attack, and to improve their decision making.”

The game against Nottingham is at Goldington Road on Sunday, with KO at 2.00 pm.  The scrum bar is open and all are welcome.
