Blues Community are pleased to relaunch the Match Day Guard of Honour package in partnership with Club Sponsors Autoglass.

The revamped initiative has definitely improved the match day experience for participants and spectators alike as we welcome the next generation to Goldington Road for a special experience.

The Club would like to thank SSG Services for their partnership since inception of the scheme, but with the growth of Blues Community the delivery will come back in house thanks to the sponsorship of Autoglass.

The Guard of Honour package will continue to offer schools, clubs and groups the chance to experience a specialist rugby training session on the back pitch pre-game, form the welcome tunnel as the teams run out, receive an official club flag and participation certificate.

If you have a school, club or general group that would be interested in forming the GOH at a home Blues match then we would love to hear from you. Simply email with your details and we will try to accommodate.

Gareth Alred, Bedford Blues’ Chief Operating Officer, said: “We would like to thank SSG Services for their partnership since inception of the Blues’ Guard of Honour, but now is the right time for Blues Community to take ownership of the scheme.

“We are extremely grateful for the continued and increased support of club sponsors’ Autoglass, who were keen to be involved in a community initiative helping the next generation of sports fans and players.

“The package has been a welcome addition to the Blues match day and we hope more young groups enjoy the experience and urge them to contact us to get involved.”
