THE BLUES MATCH DAY EXPERIENCE THIS FRIDAY

Bedford Blues return home this Friday 14th November ready to make Goldington Road a fortress as they take on Yorkshire Carnegie in their first home match in four weeks.

The Blues faced disappointment on Friday when they lost out to play-off final favourites Worcester Warriors, but are determined to bounce back from the defeat this weekend against the Headingley Carngie outfit, formally Leeds Carnegie, who are currently sitting one place higher than the Blues but joint on points.

This Friday’s match marks the start of Friday Night Lights at Goldington Road with ‘£3 Happy Hours’ available from 17:00-19:00 in the Eagle Bar so make the most of your match day experience by arriving early.

A full host of catering options are available from pre match lunch hospitality in the Blues Marquee to in-ground outlets in the shape of the Fish & Chip trailer or Burger and Sausage stand, or further still why not sit down in the Scrum Hall and dine with Nos. Bedford’s renowned Nos’s Nosh is now permanently serving sit down meals on Friday night’s as well as Saturday’s.

For those interested in pre-match hospitality please contact Melissa@bedfordrugby.co.uk or Sophie@bedfordrugby.co.uk or pick up the phone today and call 0871 871 1886.

Gates open at 17:00 ready for kick off at 19:45 with discounted online tickets available at www.theclubshop.co.uk/bedfordblues so book early to take advantage. Tickets will also be available at the gate on match day.

Remember the Club will also be offering free entry to any serving member of the armed forces or the emergency services, just show your identification cards to the gate staff on match night.

Bedford Blues’ Operations Manager, Gareth Alred said: “We are consistently working hard to further improve our match-day experience and believe the November Friday night lights offer something different again to our fantastic supporter base.

“We have also worked closely with the local rugby clubs for both of our home November fixtures and would be delighted to welcome them to Goldington Road this Friday. There are several plans ahead to further grow our offering and we hope the town can continue to come together and support the passion and pride of Bedford.”
