To book please call Vicky McQueen on 07812082375 or email Vicky@didirugby.com.

Timings for each age group session are below:

  • 9 – 9:40 (18 months -3 years)
  • 9:40 – 10:20 (3-4 years)
  • 10:20 – 11 (4-6 years)

Didi rugby started in the Midlands in June 2015, but has expanded across the country with 800 children taking part each week.  The founder of didi rugby is Vicky Macqueen, retired England rugby international, level three rugby coach and mum of two young boys… who brought all her skills and experience together to form the didi rugby program.

The classes are multi skills based activities delivered through the tool of rugby with the simple aim to get children active, whilst enjoying themselves. Each session aims to instill fun, confidence and activity levels and developing the basic fundamentals of fitness and movement such as balance, coordination, agility and more. Children also learn the core RFU values; teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship.

Commenting on the new initiative, Head of Blues Community, Ben Gulliver said: “This is a great way to both start kids in rugby early, but also aid their motor skills and social development. I’ve known Vicky for a long time and she has built a great program which we are looking forward to rolling out at the Blues.”
