Join the Bedford Blues big tidy up this weekend at Goldington Road as work starts on ground improvements for next season.

The Followers will be carrying out a number of tasks every Saturday over the summer from the end of June, but this weekend from 9am on Saturday and Sunday, Baz Townsend will lead a clear up of the site.

All are welcome and if fans can spare any time your support is greatly appreciated. There are plenty of jobs to do, but very common themes include picking up rubbish, removing larger objects ahead of bigger ground works, painting and weeding so please bring any small tools you have that may be of help.

The Club are investing significant sums on a facilities project at the home of Bedford Blues in the off season, but need the followers to complement the work with an array of smaller jobs including painting, weeding and general tidying.

A selection of followers will be there from 8am to 1pm, but please come and go within those times if you can only spare a short time. Every bit of help will be greatly appreciated.

If it’s raining, there’s still a few jobs we will be able to do so don’t be put off by the weather - but do bring some sun block if the weather is as glorious as it has recently been.

Many thanks and hope to see you there #COYB.
