Playing for England U16, U17 and U19 gave Billy Walker the taste for international rugby. He made his U20 debut in the 2016 World Rugby Championship against Italy and played in all five games in England’s reverberating triumph. An Essex boy, born in Romford, he is a member of Saracens Academy who has joined for the coming Championship campaign.
Last season Billy became one of the first young players from Saracens to go on loan to Ampthill, newly promoted to National One. Two months later, he made his England U18 debut against France and played in all three matches during the tour of South Africa. He played his first senior club games against the Ospreys and Worcester Warriors last season.
