Harry Davies

Player Profile:

Bedford Blues have added further Premiership quality to their back line with the signing of Welsh outside back Harry Davies.
Davies, 24, whose preferred position is fullback but can also play 13 and wing, has signed on for the Goldington Road club on a short term deal having spent the past two seasons with Bath.
Standing at six feet four inches tall and tipping the scales at 102kg, the Welshman will add an extra string to the already impressive Blues backs.

Davies started his rugby career at Llantrisant RFC before joining the Cardiff Blues Academy at the age of seventeen. Whilst at the Blues Academy Harry played for the Blue and Blacks of Cardiff, making his debut against Llandaff, going on to make a total of 26 appearances and scoring eight tries.
Harry moved into the first team making his first team debut for the Blues in November 2014 scoring a try in the LV Cup match against Newcastle Falcons. At the end of the 2015/16 season it was announced that Harry would be joining Premiership giants Bath for the 2016/17 Premiership campaign.
An impressive pre-season followed but his Bath debut was delayed due to illness and he finally pulled on the famous shirt for the Anglo-Welsh Cup game against Gloucester in January 2017.
Changes to the coaching staff meant opportunities were few and far between at the Rec though, and Davies is now looking to truly resurrect his career at Goldington Road with the Blues.
