VOLUNTEER PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS ROLE

Greene King IPA Championship side Bedford Blues are on the lookout for a volunteer to join their Performance Analysis Team for the 2019/20 campaign.

Having finished third in the Championship last season, the Blues will be looking to push on with their league and cup campaign in the second tier of English rugby.

Analysis has become an increasingly important part of the preparation process and the Blues are looking for someone to join the team to assist with Performance Analysis duties on a flexible basis.

The role could be ideal for a college or university student looking to gain experience in such a role, or for anyone else looking to develop their skills within the rugby industry.

The role will include:-

  • Learning and coding training and games using analysis software
  • Filming and capturing of training and games set by Senior Performance Analyst
  • Working on mini projects such as reporting back on general areas of the game and training
  • Developing your skill set in other areas of Performance Analysis as required by Bedford Blues

The person we are looking for...

  • Have an interest in Rugby Union.
  • Be computer literate, ideally with using Windows, and familiar with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Dropbox, We Transfer, internet research engines, Pages, Numbers, Keynote etc.
  • Willingness to be flexible with time and work home matches
  • Be committed to working within a team environment, be part of the team and have the ability to complete projects within specific time frames.
  • The Person must have good time keeping, be committed, reliable and have the ambition to learn, improve and enhance their Performance Analysis.

The successful candidate will work within an agreed flexible time frame starting in July 2019 and will be based at the Bedford Blues Coaching offices at Goldington Road.
