Match Focus: Knights ride into town

Following a rare weekend off, Mike Rayer’s troops will be looking to get out of the blocks quickly on Saturday and continue their imperious home form, whilst leapfrogging their opponents in the standings.
However, Blues won’t be underestimating a Doncaster side who sit only one place and two points ahead of them in the table following their own inspired start to the new decade. The South Yorkshire outfit also boast a perfect home record since the New Year; a run which includes the impressive 38-10 victory over Jersey Reds last time out.
Clive Griffiths’ Knights haven’t yet been able to replicate that form on the road as they remain winless away from Castle Park this year; although they head to Bedford determined to right some wrongs after failing to score in last weekend’s Championship Cup Quarter Final at Nottingham.
The Blues will also be looking for an immediate response following their defeat at second placed Ealing Trailfinders two weeks ago, a game hampered by the effects of Storm Dennis with extremely difficult conditions in the capital.
