Bedford Blues are proud to announce that long standing partners Blue Chip will remain as main club sponsors for the 2020/21 campaign with an increased level of support.
Blue Chip became sponsors of Bedford Blues 11 years ago, before taking the front of shirt rights ahead of the 2014-15 Championship season.
As well as pride of place on the Blues jersey, Blue Chip are also headline sponsors of the revamped Blues website which launched this season and partners of the Bedford Blues’ Ladies Day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Blues’ Chief Operating Officer, Gareth Alred commented: “We are delighted that Blue Chip have not just renewed their sponsorship, but increased their level of support, and at such a challenging time for the club.
“It’s a huge boost for the Blues heading into next season and we look forward to launching a new home and away strip with them for the next Championship campaign. They are extremely community focussed and are a real extension of the Blues Family.”
Blue Chip are a specialist IT services provider, supporting over 700 businesses throughout the UK and overseas. Based in Bedford for over 30 years, they employ nearly 250 staff and have a key focus on all community partnerships.
Specialising in mission critical systems through their Tier 4 data centre, Blue Chip provides the ecommerce backbone for high street retailers, whilst managing 10% of the UK's banking traffic, keeping business running all over the world.
Blue Chip Sales and Marketing Director, Chris Smith said: “We are proud to be continuing sponsorship of Bedford Blues. It was particularly important to us that we confirmed our continuing support for the Blues during these challenging times.
“We all look forward to a return to normality, when we can once again shout out; Come on you Blues!”
