Fans’ Team of the Decade: 2000-2010
We asked the Blues Family to vote for their ‘Team of the Decade: 2000 - 2010’ on Twitter and the results are in!
Over 2,000 votes were cast across a series of polls to decide who would make it into the side.
The team features Bedford legends of years gone by including the three most recent former Blues to be granted a Testimonial Year; Paul Tupai, James Pritchard and Sacha Harding.
There is a different style of captain compared to Lee Dickson of the 'Team of the Decade: 2010 - 2020' as Junior Paramore is appointed skipper having won his poll by the largest majority.
Paramore is one of nine players included in the side who featured in the 2005 Powergen Challenge Shield victory at Twickenham; five make the starting XV and four are named among the replacements.
