Bedford Blues are pleased to announce an increased sponsorship deal with SDG Services which will see the Bedfordshire business also become shirt sponsors for the 2020/21 campaign.

Alongside maintaining their player sponsorship of full-back Rich Lane and an advertising board at Goldington Road, SDG will become Community Partners, a match day sponsor and boast their company logo on the left sleeve of the club’s jerseys next season.

Blues Chief Operating Officer, Gareth Alred said: “We are delighted to announce this latest increased sponsorship with another local business who are big supporters of the Blues.

“Gavin and his family have supported the club for generations and this sponsorship, as with many at Bedford, is about much more than advertising – they want to make sure the club navigates its way through this challenging period.”

A family run business established in 1993, SDG are a mechanical and electrical contracting company, covering both the domestic and commercial markets.

SDG continue to carry out essential works to clients, including NHS Trusts, schools and domestic properties, throughout the current coronavirus lockdown, ensuring everyone’s safety at this time.

SDG Managing Director, Gavin Spendlove added: “We are delighted and proud to be in a position to be able to increase our level of support for the forthcoming season.

"The Club plays such an important part in many peoples’ lives across the town so we need to do all we can to ensure it is here for the future generations to enjoy.

"Cannot wait to get back to Goldington Road to see what next season has in store for us! Come on you Blues!”
