Bedford Blues Beer Garden
Posted: 21st July 2020
Bedford Blues will be hosting a Beer Garden at Goldington Road every weekend throughout the summer, starting at the end of this month.
The initial launch weekend will be held on Friday 31st July from 4-8pm, Saturday 1st August from 12-8pm and again on Sunday 2nd August from 12-6pm. It’s the perfect opportunity to once again show your loyalty and support to the club, while also enjoying some time out with friends and family in a safe and secure manner.
The Bedford Blues Beer Garden will then remain open on these same days and times for every weekend throughout the summer, unless communicated otherwise.
To ensure safety for all our staff and attendees, social distancing measures will be in place and all payments will be CASHLESS.
Entry is just £1 per person, to secure your entry and register your details before the day in line with COVID track and trace regulations, we urge supporters to book online. Simply click here to book in for the opening weekend, future dates will be added every Monday morning.
Anyone wishing to attend can also walk-up, however our capacity is limited to 300 each day so we advise to book in advance where possible to guarantee your place and save the hassle of form filling on arrival.
Picnic benches will be located all around our training pitch to ensure safe social distancing, while supporters will also have access to an outside bar, our Coffee & Cake Horsebox and a food stall.
Unfortunately, we are unable to allow supporters to bring their own seating, however picnic blankets are permissible. Three sets of toilets will be open, outside the SDC Suite, Former Players Bar and the Marquee.
Access will only be allowed via the main Goldington Road gates with a strict one-way policy. There will be no parking available inside Goldington Road.
There are additional COVID related measures in place, including numerous hand sanitizer units and stations (condition of entry), random temperature checks on arrival, chemical cleaning each morning of opening and other related regulations.
Attendees are unable to bring any food, drink, chairs, gazebo etc on site, but bags and picnic blankets are allowed, but may be searched.
Please Note: In case of poor weather the event may need to close. Any announcements will be made via our social media channels and the club website.
