Blues v Ampthill Double-Header Announced
The wait to watch Bedford Blues in live action is almost over as a pre-season double header against near neighbours Ampthill is announced for the next fortnight.

Mike Rayer and his charges will be desperate to regain the Battle of Bedfordshire bragging rights in the build-up to the 2021 Championship season.
Both matches will be available to watch LIVE through the club’s respective online streaming platforms at £10.00 per fixture per stream.

Looking ahead to the fixtures, Head Coach, Alex Rae said: “I’m sure I speak on behalf of everyone when I say I can’t wait for a return to rugby and for the excitement of a Bedford Blues game day to be back with us.
“It’s been a long time coming for us – with lots of twists and turns along the way – but now a start date is in sight, we can’t wait to get going. The lads have been fantastic in the way they’ve applied themselves in training and now with the Northampton Saints lads joining us it points to an exciting season.
“These first two games are going to be all about match fitness and blowing away the cobwebs, plus a chance for the lads to build on-field relationships. It’s going to be great playing Ampthill with the added spice of local bragging rights at stake.”
