Match Focus: Blues Return Home
Bedford Blues will be determined to pick up where they left off when neighbours Ampthill make the short hop over the B530 in the return leg of the #BattleofBedfordshire to conclude pre-season this Saturday (Kick Off 1pm, Build-Up from 12:30pm).

Big Game Preview
It’s been almost a year since Bedford Blues last contested a home fixture and they will face a stern test from Mark Lavery’s Ampthill side – the last team to secure an away victory at Goldington Road. Coached by former Blue, Paul Turner, they will be hunting for revenge and local bragging rights after Bedford’s victory at Dillingham Park last Saturday.
Six tries ensured Blues edged an 11-try, 69-point thriller to start preparations for the 2021 Championship season and Mike Rayer’s troops will be looking to build on those foundations further ahead of the league curtain raiser against Coventry a week later.
