Mike Rayer has named his squad as Bedford Blues look to get their home campaign up and running with the visit of Hartpury tomorrow night at Goldington Road (KO 7:45PM).

Tomorrow’s match under the Friday night lights is available to live stream for £10 by clicking here (on air at 7:25pm).

There are seven changes to the side which began the season away at Coventry last weekend as Bedford look to make a strong start at home without several key players due to injury.

Four players are set for their first Bedford starts, while a further three players are in line for their competitive debuts.

There are three changes in the forward pack, with two new props as Ed Prowse makes his starting debut at tighthead and captain Sean McCarthy returns to lead the side at loosehead.

The other change comes at flanker as Joe Atkinson switches jerseys to play at his more familiar openside position, while Oli Robinson comes in at blindside.

There is a new half-back partnership for tomorrow’s fixture as James Lennon and Will Maisey start. Connor Tupai is ruled out through suspension having been cited for a tip tackle following last weekend’s match.

The final two changes to the Bedford team come on the wings as Josh Gillespie is handed his Bedford debut, while Matt Worley returns to the starting XV.

Among the replacements, scrum half Ewan Fenley and Duel Reg tighthead prop Rob Hardwick are set for their Bedford debuts with Wasps stepping in to help out the Blues at short notice.

Starting XV:
