Team News v Cornish Pirates

Mike Rayer has named an unchanged starting XV for the first time this season as Bedford Blues prepare for the long trip down to Cornwall on Sunday afternoon to face Cornish Pirates (KO 12:30pm).

Rayer sticks with the side which performed so well against Hartpury to secure the win in the first home match of the season, but face a stiff challenge in the West Country.

Pirates have made an impressive start themselves and are one of only three teams with a perfect record following victories over Saracens and Richmond to place them in second position in the table.

The only changes to the Blues match day squad come among the replacements as Oli Curry returns from his three-week suspension, while Tui Uru – who was recalled by Northampton last weekend – and Pat Tapley are also back in the match day squad. 

Jordan Onojaife, Henry Paul, Corrie Barrett and Oskar Hirskyj-Douglas all remain out through injury.
