Team News v Doncaster Knights

Mike Rayer has named his Bedford Blues’ team in search of a first victory at Castle Park since 2012 when facing high-flyers Doncaster Knights this Sunday (KO 1pm).

A relatively new fixture for the two sides, having only first met in 2005, Bedford will be hoping for a first away victory of the season following a comprehensive home display against Richmond last time out.

Rayer makes five changes, welcoming back Jordan Onojaife and Oskar Hirskyj-Douglas from injury for their first minutes of Championship action this campaign.

There is an entirely different front row as hooker Jacob Fields makes his first start this season, while Joe Wrafter and Henry Paul will line-up either side of him in the scrum. Will Carrick Smith returns to the second row to complete the quadruple forward changes.

In the back line, Hirskyj-Douglas is thrown straight back in at inside centre, with Tom Litchfield on his outside.

Onojaife slots in to the replacements bench which also contains Ethan Grayson; in line for his competitive Bedford Blues debut.
