Spectators return for Battle of Bedfordshire

Bedford Blues are delighted to announce the return of a limited number of supporters for the season concluding Battle of Bedfordshire fixture against Ampthill on Saturday 29th May (KO 2pm).

In line with the latest government advice regarding COVID-19, Bedford Borough Council and the Sports Grounds Safety Authority, the Club will be allowed a maximum capacity of circa 1,500 to cheer on the boys as Mike Rayer’s squad look to finish the campaign with local bragging rights.

Due to the limited number of tickets available, the opportunity to purchase tickets will only be offered to Season Ticket holders from the 2019/20 season, Live Streaming Season Pass holders and Club Sponsors. All three supporter groups will receive communication in the coming week with how to claim their ticket.

The match will not be made available for general sale at any point unfortunately.  However, the game will still be available to live stream in the same way as all matches this season, click here to purchase.

Due to social distancing measures which will need to be in operation, Bedford Blues cannot guarantee that supporters will be offered a seat in the Eagle Stand with capacity in this area decreased to 25%.

Supporters who live in the same household or bubble will be offered the opportunity to sit or stand together. Face masks will need to be worn throughout the entirety of the game, unless of a medical exemption or any changes from the government between now and the game.

Unfortunately, as per regulations, alcohol will only be sold in hospitality or seated areas (excluding the Eagle Stand). Therefore, you will not be able to buy or drink a beer pitchside on this occasion. There will be an additional marquee for supporters to book seated tables in for pre-match, half-time and after the final whistle.

All tickets will be sold on a first come, first sold basis to all applicable supporters.
