Oli Curry announces decision to retire
![]()
Bedford Blues can confirm that second row Oli Curry has announced his decision to retire from rugby following the conclusion of the 2021 Championship campaign.
Joining Bedford Blues ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, the 25-year-old has been a mainstay in the match day squad and retires having reached his 50th competitive appearance last time out during the Battle of Bedfordshire victory against Ampthill.
In that time Curry scored two tries, against London Irish and Nottingham.
Earlier today, he was disappointingly handed a four-week suspension following his contentious red card against Ampthill in the season concluding fixture.
