Blues Women’s matches at Goldington Road
Bedford Blues are proud to announce that during their debut season, Bedford Blues Women will contest three matches at Goldington Road including their first ever league fixture against Shelford Ladies on Sunday 10th October.
Established in June 2020, the Women’s team have been gearing up since launch for a safe start to rugby with training taking place at Bedford Athletic between government lockdowns.
This has culminated in two pre-season tournaments – in which they reached the final in both – ahead of kickstarting their league season in the NC3 Midlands (Central) division in a group alongside Shelford, Letchworth GC and Wellingborough.
The three fixtures selected to be at Goldington Road:
Sunday 10th October 2021 – Bedford Blues Women v Shelford Ladies
Sunday 5th December 2021 – Bedford Blues Women v Wellingborough Ladies
Sunday 6th March 2022 – Bedford Blues Women v Shelford Ladies
