FIREWORKS | Annual Display and Funfair this Friday
![]()
The countdown is on until this Friday’s annual Fireworks Display and Funfair at Bedford Blues.
This is now a SOLD OUT event. Please do not turn up to Goldington Road if you do not possess a ticket.
Gates open on the evening at 6pm for another action packed, fun filled evening as our annual event makes a much-anticipated return following a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The funfair, bars and catering stalls will also be open from 6pm, leaving plenty of time to take a wander around the ground and soak up the family atmosphere at this traditional town event, before the first display starts at 7pm. The children’s display is the perfect winter warmer for kids of all ages, ahead of the main event.
Throughout the evening, local fire entertainer Lilith Lixx will entertain the crowds, hosting four short performances between 6:15 and 7:45pm around the pitches to grip the crowds in front of the Eagle Stand and Scrum Bar.
The main display kicks off at 8pm with another bright, loud and entertaining firework display planned as Firemagic attempt to raise the bar once again. From Catherine Wheels to Firecrackers and Rockets, Goldington Road will be ablaze with colour for the night!
Suitable for every age, the home of Bedford’s premier sporting club can serve as the ultimate family night out or a warm-up for a meal and drink in town, situated just a five-minute walk away.
Food outlets, including a wide range of menus across the ground, will be open and available for a choice of culinary delights.
Outdoor bars will also be available to fire up a great night out at the Blues or for those looking to warm up; a special coffee outlet will be on site as well as the cosy surrounds of the Eagle and Scrum Bar. Toilets are available in all buildings, with the marquee only in use for additional toilet capacity.
Last admission is 8pm to ensure no one misses out on the evening’s events so make sure to arrive in good time. Strictly no admission thereafter.
Event sponsored by Eagle Brewery and Barons BMW.
