The Championship’s two leading points scorers – with 504 points and 72 tries between the pair after just five matches apiece – are set to collide at the home of Bedford’s premier sporting club looking to maintain early season form at Goldington Road.

There are three changes to the Bedford side due to illness and availability which returned to winning ways last time out at Hartpury University, with Bailey Ransom coming in at blindside in place of Karl Wilkins.

The other two changes come in the front row as Corrie Barrett reclaims the tighthead jersey and Joey Conway starts at loosehead.

Among the replacements, Josh Pieterse, Oli Stedman and Louis Grimoldby return as the injury list reduces, meaning it’s only the forwards duo of Jacob Fields and Will Biggs ruled out on Saturday.
