VOLUNTEER ON BOXING DAY | Covid Marshals Required
![]()
Bedford Blues are looking for COVID Marshals to support our Match Day Operations Plan as we mark the return of Boxing Day rugby to Goldington Road with the visit of Jersey Reds.
With numerous additional COVID risk management protocols in place on match day to protect the health & safety of all inside Goldington Road, these roles will be more important than ever to ensure as successful a match day as possible at the home of Bedford’s premier sporting club.
Following the government’s announcement of its ‘Plan B’, all attending supporters will be required to show proof of their NHS COVID Vaccine Passport or a negative lateral flow test undertaken on the morning of the match. To download your vaccine passport click here.
The role of COVID Marshals will be an integral one to allow the smooth transition of supporters into Goldington Road at a manageable pace, with all Vaccine Passports or LFTs checked prior to reaching the ticket barriers.
There remains further opportunity to join the Safety team as a Blues Steward or Ambassadorial Volunteer and help improve our spectator safety management, while keeping Goldington Road the most enjoyable place to watch Championship rugby.
