An Evening with the Two Charlies
Join us at Goldington Road this March as the world of antiques heads to Bedford’s premier sporting club with dynamic duo Charlie Ross and Charles Hanson guest speaking in our first announced event of the New Year.
On Friday 25th March, in partnership with Rotary Club of Bedford Castle, Ross and Hanson will headline the evening that follows a two-course dinner and will conclude with an auction that will raise funds for the evening’s charity partner, Bedford Hospitals Charity and Friends.
Due to high levels of interest, tables of 10 are currently available at £45 per person. Smaller bookings will be considered to make joiner tables. Doors will open at 7:15pm in the Blues Marquee and tickets can be purchased by contacting the Blues Events team on the button below.
Talking all things from fine art to Ferraris, Charlie Ross is an antiques expert, presenter and auctioneer; most notably appearing on several BBC programmes including Bargain Hunt, Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is and Flog It!
He is one of the world’s most renowned classic car auctioneers, holding the record for the most expensive car to sell at auction in the United States of America. In recent years, he has also dabbled in the music industry alongside fellow antique experts, releasing three charity singles including a Number One in the Amazon Rock Charts.
Charles Hanson is another to have worked on some of the BBC’s flagship antiquities programmes and has worked in some of the UK’s most well-known auction and antiques houses throughout his career, including Christie’s of London.
Founder of Hansons Auctioneers and Valuers in Etwall, Derbyshire; Hanson is a regular charity fundraiser and also featured on the first of Ross’ charity singles in 2017.
