Blues Community April Rugby Camp
Following some fantastic engagement over the recent February Half Term school holidays, Bedford Blues Community are delighted to be back in just six weeks’ time with details now announced for the next Rugby Camp at the start of April.
More than 45 aspiring young rugby players joined us at Goldington Road for the first Blues Community rugby provision of the New Year; enhancing and learning new skills as well as re-introducing key elements of the game which had been missing in previous camps due to more stringent COVID-19 regulations.
The next three-day rugby camp will again be hosted at the home of Bedford’s premier sporting club (MK40 3NF) and will run between Tuesday 5th April – Thursday 7th April as Blues Community continue to showcase and deliver rugby coaching under ‘Play the Blues way’ principles.
For ages between 6-12 years old, with all ability levels welcomed, the price of the full three-day camps, from 10am – 3pm each day, remains £70 per person. Click here to purchase.
Please note: To ensure these camps run in a safe and secure manner for all youngsters and our coaching staff, we cannot offer the option of attending just one day as everyone will be placed into a group which will remain constant across the three days.
Blues Community continue to monitor the latest guidelines from the Government and the RFU in accordance with Bedford Blues’ COVID risk management plan. For the safety of all participants, certain preventative COVID measures will remain in place for the foreseeable future including readily available hand sanitising stations and staggered toilet breaks.
Blues Community will do all they can to ensure that groups for each camp are made up with appropriate ages; these camps will look to develop the individual player and support their own development, however we cannot guarantee age groups will be perfectly consistent. We ask that all attendees bring their own lunch and water bottle.
There is a £10 discount available to any Bedford Junior Blues members only, therefore costing just £60, which can be redeemed once using the unique code from the appropriate BJB age group coach.
Options for Early Drop Off and Late Pick Up are also available in three-day bundle packages, please select the relevant additional extras before going through to checkout.
