London Scottish v Bedford re-arranged

Bedford Blues can today announce that our final Championship fixture of the 2021/22 season away at London Scottish has been rescheduled for Saturday 19th March with a 14:30 KO.

The fixture at the Richmond Athletic Ground was originally set to take place on Sunday 20th March before being pushed back to Sunday 2nd April as part of the RFU's plan to extend the Championship season and cope with fixtures cancelled due to COVID-19.

The reason for the movement back to the original weekend is due to London Scottish being unable to hire their home stadium, the Richmond Athletic Ground on the revised date and therefore sought special dispensation from the RFU to move the fixture again.

We are pleased to finalise this new date for next month and look forward to renewing acquaintances with London Scottish in the capital.

It will be a milestone day for our Director of Rugby, Mike Rayer who will celebrate his 500th match in charge of Bedford Blues against Matt Williams’ side.
