Adamson and Lane in The Rugby Paper’s Dream Team

Backs duo Dean Adamson and Rich Lane have been inducted into The Rugby Paper’s Dream Team for the third time following sensational 2021/22 campaigns at Goldington Road.
An exceptional honour, the Dream Team is voted for by all the Championship’s Director of Rugby contingent. Blues’ positive and attacking brand of rugby has again been rewarded with the two inclusions.
Adamson was previously inducted after the 2015/16 and 2017/18 campaigns, and completes his own individual hat-trick following 16 tries in 15 appearances; shaking off an early season injury to finish the campaign as the top scoring back in the second-tier.
Lane, meanwhile, was previously named in the team in 2018/19 and the truncated 2021 campaign and gets a third induction following an uncountable number of assists and two tries from 18 games. He spent more time on the field in the Championship (1.413) than any other Blues player.
