Graham wins Blues Women Players’ Player of the Year
Following a fantastic debut season, which saw Bedford Blues Women crowned Champions of the NC3 Midlands (Central) division, we are delighted to announce that perennial try scorer Emma Graham has been named the inaugural Players’ Player of the Year.
Often leading out the side as captain, including in the title decider with Shelford Ladies Nomads back in March, Graham has always been a standout figure in the side and dotted down at least one try in all but one game throughout the title season.
The heroic last line of defence from full-back, Bedford Blues Women only conceded five points in league competition, with Graham playing a strong part in that defensive resistance.
Mark Stapley’s have been promoted following their title success and are already planning for the 2022/23 campaign which they are scheduled to spend in NC2 Midlands (Central) division.
