Do you want to be part of match day at Goldington Road?
Bedford Blues are looking for volunteer stewards to assist in all home league and cup matches in the upcoming 2022/23 Championship season.
This is the perfect opportunity for those wishing to get involved in crowd safety and be involved in the matchday experience at the home of Bedford’s premier sporting club.
We are seeking those who are self-motivated, have great communication and people skills with a can-do attitude. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, however not essential. The role will be reporting directly to our Operations Manager and Matchday Operations Lead.
Join our safety team and help improve our spectator safety management, while keeping Goldington Road the most enjoyable place to watch Championship rugby. Blues concluded the 2021/22 campaign with the highest average attendance across the second-tier.
Main duties will include ensuring crowd safety within all areas of the ground as well as any other tasks as decreed by the Operations Manager or Matchday Operations Lead on any given matchday.

All successful applicants will be required to come to Goldington Road in advance of the new season for a training exercise. This will be discussed at the time of your application and will be conducted during this off-season period.
