A historic fixture between two traditional clubs, over 90 years’ worth of history is on the line at Goldington Road with Blues holding the slenderest of margins when looking at the 80 previous meetings between the two sides.

For this upcoming contest, Rayer makes five changes to the side which opened the Championship campaign against Coventry last time out, with just one alteration in the backs division as Ethan Grayson returns to competitive action following international exploits with England U20s over the Summer.

There are two changes in the front row as James Fish and Ed Prowse are chosen to scrum down alongside Joey Conway from the off; Robin Williams starts in the second row and finally Geordie Irvine is named at blindside flanker this weekend.

Among the replacements, we welcome former Bedford School alumni Kayde Sylvester into the #BluesFamily who could be in line for his Bedford Blues debut tomorrow.

There are five injury absentees this week as Jordan Onojaife joins Osman Dimen, Luke Frost, Tui Uru and Jamie Elliott on the side-lines.
