Help the club on Boxing Day

Help maintain our spectator safety management, while keeping Goldington Road the most enjoyable place to watch Championship Rugby, as we prepare to welcome 5,000 through the turnstiles on Boxing Day.

Want to lend a hand? We are in particular looking for Blues Steward and Ambassadorial Volunteers to ensure the smooth transition of supporters into Goldington Road in a safe and secure manner.

Blues Steward / Ambassadorial Volunteer

Help improve our spectator safety management, whilst keeping Goldington Road the most enjoyable place to watch Championship rugby. 

Main duties include; assisting with the circulation of spectators around the pitch in the build-up to kick-off, ensuring safety compliance from all spectators, help reduce the likelihood and incidence of disorder and support the fan experience with great customer service and direction.

All successful applicants will be required to come to Goldington Road in advance of the game for a training exercise. This will be discussed at the time of your application.

Gate Staff / Programme Sellers

Be the first face of the Blues match day experience, with roles involving turnstile ticket sales, collection window, new ticket scanning booths and programme selling.

Casual Bar Staff

Serve the best pint in the Championship to the best supporters in the Championship! 

Bar staff will be tasked with jobs including but not limited to; taking and delivering customer orders, handling cash and with training, making drinks to order plus ensuring the cleanliness of bar areas and bar equipment. 

Alongside Bedford Blues match days, further opportunities may also arise across functions and events held within our several hospitality options at Goldington Road.
