Club Response to Jordan Onojaife’s disciplinary
![]()
Bedford Blues would like to issue the following response to Jordan Onojaife receiving a 15-week ban for an alleged biting incident in our defeat against Ealing Trailfinders.
Jordan was cited for foul play during the last minute of the match at Trailfinders Sports Ground.
The Club were surprised to receive this citing notice as no protestations were made directly to Bedford Blues on matchday, yet we remained fully co-operative during the disciplinary process and hearing.
Jordan denies the charge and maintains his innocence to the accusation. Bedford Blues supported second-row forward Jordan and contested the citing.
We have reluctantly accepted the judgment, but remain supportive of Jordan.
The current disciplinary process mandates that the cited player is guilty unless innocence can be conclusively proven.
This decision will effectively end Jordan’s season as he will only be available for the final two fixtures of the campaign.
Bedford Blues does not condone biting and all other forms of foul play. There will be no further comment on this matter.
