MATCH FOCUS | Pirates set sail for Bedford
Bedford Blues will look to maintain their unbeaten home record this season as Cornish Pirates are the first visitors to Goldington Road of 2023 this Saturday (KO 3pm).

Big Game Preview
Blues have a rare opportunity to complete a league double over Cornish Pirates following the 41-21 away success at The Mennaye earlier in the campaign. However, Mike Rayer's side will be fully aware of the challenge that awaits them against a resurgent West Country outfit hunting revenge.
Both sides head into the game with confidence following two wins against Ampthill and London Scottish for Bedford, and Doncaster Knights and Nottingham for the Pirates, respectively.
Following much transition over the Summer, Gavin Cattle and Alan Paver’s team are starting to click and now look in with a realistic opportunity of pushing for the Top Four places.
