TEAM NEWS | Four changes for Coventry cup clash

Mike Rayer has named his squad as Bedford Blues prepare to contest the penultimate fixture of the Championship Cup group phase with a trip to Coventry tomorrow afternoon (KO 3pm).

The two sides square off for the third time this season, following two pulsating fixtures and a victory apiece, and are set to meet again in April to conclude the season. This is the 185th meeting between the pair, with Blues only facing Northampton Saints on more occasions throughout history.

For this latest chapter, Rayer sticks with as much continuity as possible in comparison to the side which secured victory over London Scottish under the lights at Goldington Road last weekend.

There are four changes in total to the starting side for tomorrow including Jamie Elliott making a welcome return from injury and will captain the side once again, with Matt Worley the only other difference in the backs division.

There are two changes in the forwards packs as the rotation of the loosehead prop jersey continues with Lewis Holsey this time selected to begin proceedings, while Robin Williams also comes into the Starting XV and partners Emeka Atuanya in the engine room.

Jacob Fields, Osman Dimen and Alex Woolford remain the longer-term injuries, while further members of the squad have been given an additional week to recover, particularly with a compact ending to the season over the next two months.
