Blues duo included in Rugby Paper Dream Team
Backs duo Dean Adamson and Sean French have been inducted into The Rugby Paper's Dream Team following sensational 2022/23 campaigns at Goldington Road.
An exceptional honour, the Dream Team took a slightly different process this year with voting coming from all The Rugby Paper contributors who cover the Championship, as opposed to the Director of Rugby's at each club.
Blues' positive and attacking brand of rugby has again been rewarded with the two inclusions.
Adamson gets into the Dream Team for the fourth time having previously been inducted in the 2015/16, 2017/18 and 2021/22 campaigns. In a season within which he became our fifth greatest try scorer throughout club history, Adamson chipped in with 13 from 23 appearances.
French, meanwhile, was unplayable at times throughout his debut season in English rugby and finished joint top of the league's standings. He scored an unprecedented four tries against Doncaster Knights at Goldington Road, as part of 20 in total from 27 games.
