Frost wins Followers Player of the Year
After a stellar campaign in the back five of the forwards pack, Luke Frost has been rewarded for his contributions to the team by securing the 2022/23 Bedford Rugby Followers Association Player of the Year Award.
Frost has been an absolute gem this season and has really stood up as one of the first names on the team sheet, becoming an ever present after recovering from concussion which kept him out for the first few games of the campaign.
You would like to think he’d have played every minute available to him across the campaign without that injury as he played the full 80 minutes in all of his 23 appearances across 22/23, meaning he played more minutes (1,840) than any of his teammates.
He also found the try line a lot in recent times with all six of his club tries coming in 22/23, after a fruitless inaugural campaign.
In total, Frost has played 45 times for Bedford and will be a shoo-in to hit the 50 appearance milestone should he be prolonging his stay at Goldington Road into the 2023/24 campaign.
