GALLERY | Friends of the Blues Soiree
We were delighted to host a first Friends of the Blues soiree in four years last month as part of our preparations for the Battle of Bedfordshire.
Postponed since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organiser Howard Travis was back to bring together all current members of The Friends of the Blues inside the CMC Marquee to catch up, meet the playing and coaching departments, as well as hear a Q&A with former Blue, Charlie Clare.
Friends of the Blues are an important fundraising organisation who support the club, providing substantial financial sums for Bedford Blues projects via various competitions, events and collections.
The soiree is the high point of the year, where members vote on their Try of the Season, enter a raffle as well as the £1000 prize draw, guess the attendance competitions and much more.
