MATCH FOCUS | Back on the road at Hartpury
Bedford Blues will be looking to retain momentum when they travel to Hartpury looking to make it back-to-back away victories in the Championship this Saturday (KO 2:30pm).

Mike Rayer’s side will be looking to make it four away victories out of the five in the league after some impressive displays on the road this season. An inspired performance at Caldy two weeks means confidence is high in camp as Blues look to consolidate themselves in the Top Four.
Hartpury head into the contest as one of the form sides in the second tier, following four wins from their last six outings including most notably a huge victory on the road at Coventry. They scored 54 points last time out on home soil v Ampthill, and will be looking to keep the good times rolling on Saturday.
We’ve Met Before
Aside from the introduction of Caldy to the second-tier last season, Bedford v Hartpury remains one of the newest fixtures in the club’s history with a first meeting coming less than seven years ago in November 2017.
There have been thirteen battles since then, Blues winning eleven and Hartpury twice, featuring some great contests over the years between two sides who like to showcase positive, attacking rugby.
Earlier this season, Hartpury took a healthy lead at Goldington Road before Mike Rayer’s side ran in 53 unanswered points to secure a big eight-try victory. Watch the TRYlights here.
