MATCH FOCUS | Blues back on the road to Caldy
Bedford Blues will be looking to return to winning ways when they travel to Caldy in search of a first ever victory at Paton Field this Saturday (KO 14:00).

Mike Rayer’s side will be looking to head back into the Championship’s Top Four after falling down to fifth following last weekend’s frustrating home defeat against Cornish Pirates.
Caldy have been a bit more inconsistent this season, currently residing in ninth, but head into Saturday off the back of some recent impressive performances on home soil, including last weekend against title chasers, Coventry.
We’ve Met Before
The most recent rivalry in Bedford’s illustrious history, the two sides met for the first time less than two years ago following Caldy’s National One title campaign and subsequent promotion to the second tier.
All previous meetings have gone the way of the home side, with Blues leading the series 2-1 following victory in the Premiership Cup earlier this season.
The two sides are set to be meet again later this season (Sat 23 Mar – KO 3pm) on the occasion of Ladies Day at Goldington Road. Stay tuned in the coming days for some exciting news ahead of one of the standout dates in the Bedford diary.
