MATCH FOCUS | Friday Night Lights v Bristol Bears
Bedford Blues will be looking to make it a hat-trick of victories over Premiership opposition this season when they entertain Bristol Bears at Goldington Road in the final home Friday Night Lights of the campaign (Gates Open 5pm; Kick Off 7:45pm).

Big Game Preview
Bedford and Bristol will both be looking to re-build some momentum ahead of important league run-ins. Mike Rayer’s side slipped out of the Championship’s Top Four last weekend, so will be looking to improve in certain areas against what is expected to be a loaded Bears side.
Pat Lam’s troops hosted New Zealand side, Crusaders, a few weeks ago to help fill the gap during this seven-week Six Nations break. They still harbour ambitions for the post season Premiership semi-finals and will look to gain valuable minutes and confidence in front of the Bedford faithful.
Expect both sides to name inflated squads when the teams are confirmed on Thursday, with Rich Lane and Piers O’Connor predicted to feature against their old club.
Food, Drink and Entertainment
With another large attendance anticipated, head to the ground early to avoid the queues and sample everything on offer. Grab a programme from the gates and visit one of our seven public bars; including the upstairs Rebel Bar, serving our full offering, including all three real ales.
Elsewhere, those looking for a speedy pint can try Swipestation in the Scrum Bar, enjoy traditional surroundings of the Former Players Bar or visit any of the external bars around the ground.
The mini fan village remains ever popular with the usual offering of No.7 Coffee House Mobile Truck and The Cocktail Box (also selling San Miguel and Somersby cans plus soft drinks), alongside the Dunster House Bar and Burger & Sausage Hut.
Elsewhere there are three other food outlets available: the refurbed catering unit by the main gates, Taylor’s Kitchen at the Scrum Hall and The Burrow serving hatch after kick-off.
After the match, head to The Rebel Bar for the continuation of ‘Final Whistle’ featuring the Man of the Match interview with Sam Roberts or straight into the CMC Marquee with live music from local act, Jodie Erica who makes her GR debut to kickstart your weekend.

The safety of supporters is of paramount importance, and with more stewards deployed around the ground this Friday, you’ll be in safe hands.
Please note bag searches will be in operation at all gates this Friday. Please be reminded no food or drink is allowed into the ground and any unsealed drinks vessels will not be permitted. Please arrive early where possible to allow a safe flow of supporters into the ground.
Blues Foundation Community Schools Night
We are delighted to welcome teachers and pupils from eight local primary schools we work with for a special schools night; namely Wootton, Wilstead, Turvey, Great Denham, Scott, Priory Lower, St James CE VA and Pinchmill.
As well as taking part in a Rugby & Reading session in the Foundation Hub and out on the training paddock, pupils will also form the Bellway Homes Guard of Honour and walk out with the Starting XVs of both sides. Make sure to show your support as they head out onto the hallowed turf.
