MATCH FOCUS | Back on the road to Nottingham
After back-to-back home games, Bedford Blues head out on an away voyage for the first time in a month as they face Nottingham under the Friday Night Lights (KO 7:45pm).

Big Game Preview
With just nine points separating Bedford in 4th and Nottingham in 7th, there’s still an awful lot to play for across the final six rounds of Championship action – most certainly more than just pride will be at stake at Lady Bay.
It’s set to be an intriguing contest under the lights with Blues successful on their last away voyage, while Nottingham triumphed in-front of their last home support. With two of the league’s top scorers, Notts’ David Williams and Bedford’s Sean French set to feature, expect it to hopefully be a high-scoring affair this time around.
We’ve Met Before
A real, traditional rugby fixture between two historic sides; Bedford Blues and Nottingham have squared off against each other on 111 competitive occasions. Throughout history Bedford have dominated, excluding Nottingham’s 1980s heyday, Blues have registered 75 wins to Nottingham’s 33 alongside two draws.
Blues hold somewhat of a psychological advantage ahead of Sunday’s encounter, having won six of the last seven meetings between the two sides. But they came a cropper on their last visit to Lady Bay and Nottingham are notoriously hard to get past under the lights.
