Big Game Preview
With Ealing having already wrapped up the title, and Blues safe and secure in fourth spot, you would hope that means both sides release the shackles and look to entertain on the final game of the season.
Both sides are saying farewell to multiple members of their respective squads, so they’ll be looking to give those the appropriate send off by signing off in style this Saturday.
A notoriously tough place to go, although Bedford do have recent success at Trailfinders Sports Ground, two sides with attacking, free-flowing philosophies go head-to-head with a lot more than just pride at stake.
We’ve Met Before
A fixture with a lot more history than people might otherwise assume, there is more than 130 years of drama and excitement in fixtures between Bedford and Ealing.
Mike Rayer’s side will be looking to draw back level in the series with Ealing’s victory at Goldington Road earlier this season taking them into a 15-14 lead from 30 previous meetings, with one entertaining draw also thrown into the mix.
Usually a high scoring affair, there’s never a dull moment when these two sides collide.
