CMC Technology Group partnership continues

Bedford Blues are delighted to announce that CMC Technology Group have extended their support of the club into the upcoming 2024/25 Championship season.
The IT and Communications specialists, who acquired the principal naming rights of The CMC Marquee in 2022, are amongst Bedford Blues’ Main Partners with a working relationship that stretches far beyond just sponsorship.
Within the last 12 months, a new Gigabit fibre internet and ground guest Wi-Fi has been set-up, as well as a refresh of all club staff IT equipment. Additional opportunities to work collaboratively are also being explored as the partnership heads into a third season.
Their support also spans across player sponsorship, hospitality, signage and match sponsorship, providing another welcome boost given the continued difficult RFU funding situation and current financial challenges everyone continues to face.
In addition, CMC Technology Group will retain positions on the front of both first-team men’s and women’s jerseys in 2024/25.
Bedford Blues Chief Operating Officer, Gareth Alred said: “Our relationship with CMC Technology Group continues to grow, and we are grateful for their support heading into a third season.
“Simon and his team have brought a lot to the club in the past two years, not just through sponsorship assets, but as one of our main partners who also share our values. They are an extension of the Blues Family, and we look forward to welcoming them back next season.
“Credit should also go to our Commercial Manager, Louis Mann, who has developed this partnership into our principal group of main sponsors that helps underpin our commercial success at Goldington Road.”

CMC Managing Director, Simon Wright added: "We came on board as sponsors because we wanted to give back to the Bedford community. Being Bedfordshire born and raised, I was well aware of the club's status within the town.
"However, since coming on board, I've had the chance to meet so many players, supporters, stakeholders and club partners. Subsequently, I have found myself immersed in the wider Blues Family and it's a great place to be."
