Season Ticket Update Letter

Dear Supporter,

We hope you are well and enjoying the outbreak of summer with a long Championship season now concluded.

Mike Rayer’s charges again secured a fantastic fourth spot in the Championship table, following another successful and exciting campaign, with our women’s team being crowned Champions and gaining promotion to NC1.

This season has seen us record the highest average attendance since records began, and the atmosphere at our last home game against Doncaster Knights, aided by a last second drop goal to earn victory, was the best I’ve witnessed in my 10 years at Bedford.  

Breaking 3,000 as an average crowd has long been a target, and we have been overwhelmed by the support of our Blues Family. You are what makes this club special, thank you so much for your support.

With next season quickly coming into focus, we have desperately been trying to piece together the 24/25 structure, awaiting RFU confirmation and details. Whilst a couple of questions remain, we are delighted to be launching our Season Tickets next week. Our members continue to be the lifeblood of this club and the income generated is the linchpin of our sustainable business model.

Season Ticket prices will rise slightly for the coming campaign, but with an additional game included against top class opposition, they represent even better value. This year’s package includes 16 games and more competitive action with further savings in the early bird window before Monday 15th July.   

Against the brighter backdrop of our fantastic and generous support from our loyal stakeholders, there is unfortunately several financial challenges facing us. Further uncertainty around central funding which looks to have decreased again, pressures around ongoing increased ground and maintenance costs, inflated utility bills, minimum wage increases and general supplier costs, means we remain tightly focussed on our commercial strategy at Goldington Road.
