Home Championship Fixture Dates & Times
An exciting campaign awaits as Bedford Blues today reveal confirmed fixture dates and kick-off times for all home Championship matches at Goldington Road.
Mike Rayer’s men begin their home exploits in pre-season action by hosting Blackheath (Fri 23 Aug) and Saracens (Fri 6 Sep) with league action getting underway with the visit of Caldy on the Championship’s Opening Weekend (Sat 21 Sep) in our annual family fun day.
Two of last season’s high-octane clashes follow in October as we welcome Hartpury (Sat 5 Oct) and Doncaster Knights (Sat 19 Oct). The latter will double up as the 16th edition of Ladies Day!
The Festive period sees a further two home matches, following a Cup window in November, Blues returning to home action against reigning champions, Ealing Trailfinders (Sat 7 Dec) for our Christmas Party fixture.
Bedford will conclude the year in the same way as they started it, on home soil, as Cambridge head to town for the bumper festive fixture (Sat 28 Dec). Whilst not on the typical Boxing Day, the club hope for another packed crowd piling through the turnstiles over Christmas.
2025 starts with a home derby double with Ampthill (Sat 18 Jan), followed by our only scheduled Friday Night Lights league fixture against Coventry (Fri 24 Jan) to conclude the month.
Another Cup break takes care of February prior to one home match in March as two of last season’s Top Four collide with Cornish Pirates this time the visitors (Sat 29 Mar).
Two of the league’s most entertaining sides do battle at GR in April as we face Nottingham (Sat 12th Apr) before two home fixtures in May conclude the league season.
A sprint to the finish begins against London Scottish (Sat 3 May) in our Blues Foundation Day, while we will host an End of Season party when hosting Chinnor for the first time in club history on our last home day of the season (Sat 24 May).
All Saturday matches will kick-off at 3pm this coming season; Friday nights at 7:45pm.
Individual match tickets for games up to the end of the year will go on sale next week, with Season Tickets still available as the only way to guarantee your spot to all of these fixtures, our Cup games, as well as those of our Bedford Blues Women side.

PLEASE NOTE: The ‘Bring a Friend for Free’ Season Ticket benefit can be used at any league fixture in 2024/25, excluding Cambridge. Full details on these codes will be emailed to all eligible members in late August.
